LIGHTING
Whether you are shooting with an iPhone or DSLR - you must get a proper light. Lighting is super important to the overall look of your videos.
Using a jenky 'Ring Light' or similar is not great because it's harsh light and doesn't give you a pro look.
Here is the setup we use to get a pro look for all our indoor videos.

Advanced:
For those shooting with a DSLR - if you need a shotgun mic (for 'run and gun') and also serves as a boom mic. This is the professional mic we are using. This is not needed for most of you, and it is not needed if shooting video from an iPhone. I am just providing the link as I use this mic for some of my videos, and many of you asked about it.
For shooting with the Sennheiser shotgun mic. This is only for those who want to use a boom mic instead of the Shure mic.

DSLR Equipment
If you want to upgrade to a full-frame DSLR 4K camera (which is not required, totally your call); here is one of the best setups, that is relatively affordable. We use this camera and lens to shoot many of our videos.
